Update 1.3.37 - A very huge update!

April Fools!

Alright, I won't be that mean by fooling you guys. Although I don't have much to show (for the reasons I've mentioned in previous posts), I may share some info regarding the development's progress.

The first very important thing for me to mention, is that after 4 aggravating months of work, Soviet Space has been finally finished! It's a complete mess, as I predicted it to be, but it doesn't matter. Like I said, I wanted to finish it out of pity more than anything, and out of pity I've finished it. Now I feel more at peace, and in all fairness, it didn't turn out as bad as I expected it to be (though it still not the finest game).

Since that project has been completed, now I can fully focus on working on Swift Survivors again! Well, not entirely... Like I said in the previous post, I still have to deal with my school stuff, and some other matters that I'd prefer not to inform you of since they're personal. Though fortunately, I only have to deal with it for the rest of April (and a tiny bit of May). That being said, during April (and a tiny bit of May), the development will be rather slow, especially since I haven't worked on it in a very long time. But after that, I'll have much more free time to spend on the development. I still don't know how much time I'll have, both that I can, and that I need to spend on the development (due to reasons I've mentioned in the previous post), but I'm positive it'll be enough to make a huge part of the update's planned changes.

I also thought of posting more devlogs, where I would inform you guys of the current development progress, specifically when I'd hit huge development milestones, that are worth showcasing. I think I'll do these, though you probably won't see them soon, for the reasons mentioned above.

Also worth mentioning; working on Soviet Space taught me a few things, that I might use in Swift Survivors. Aside from few coding tricks that could enhance game's performance, I've also took a small step in composing music! Now, the music in Soviet Space is a mixed bag: some tracks are pretty catchy, some are ok, though most are either bland or just not good in general. But seeing that, overall, they're ok, and that they're a work of inexperienced composer, I'm sure that within a few months of practicing this, the OST I'll make for Swift Survivors will be very fine! Also, like for Soviet Space, I will probably make a separate version of the game, for those who have donated. Fear not, I won't add any pay2win mechanics, but those who donate will get some few humble gifts in-game!

Thank you for reading this! I hope that this info will cheer you up after getting April Fooled!
